Tanzanian Kyanite Plain Oval Beads feature gorgeous color and a masterfully crafted symmetrical shape. These beautiful gems sport a dark blue-green hue of consistent tone & quality, with areas of zoning that verge on greenish yellow. This color texture is a signature feature of fine Kyanite. These gemstones are mined exclusively in Tanzania. The bead hole sizes are approximately 0.5mm. AA Quality. Expect a smooth polish with some internal characteristics under the surface that are largely drowned out by a brilliant vitreous luster.
Beads average about 11x7-15.5mm on a graduated strand, with variations of a few mm in either direction.
